What is it?

This is our signature facial: a customized and relaxing experience for any skin type. It is a deep cleaning that focuses on clearing pores of the excess daily contaminants collected by the skin. Products are tailored to your skin type and based upon your skin’s needs.

What can I expect?

This facial includes cleansing, extractions (if necessary), exfoliation, mask, serum, bt-micro® current, moisturizing, and most important, SPF. A luxurious neck and shoulder massage is also included! Upgrade to the 90-minute Prickly Pear Facial for extra pampering, including longer massage time, hand pampering & a facial massage with cooled rose quartz gua sha.

When will I see results?

Immediately after your facial your skin will feel glowy and hydrated!

How long do the results last?

Results vary depending upon client and skin type. With proper home skincare, results should last 4-6 weeks. Adding a facial to your monthly routine will offer the best results for a consistently healthy complexion.

In what body areas can I get it?

Face, neck, and décolleté are all included in the treatment. Hands are treated during the 90-minute facial.

Dermaplaning Facial

What is it?

Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation that removes the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz). With the removal of dead skin cells, products are more readily absorbed into the skin and new skin cells are allowed to develop. This evens out skin tone, rejuvenates the complexion, and diminishes fine lines and wrinkles!

What can I expect?

The Dermaplaning Facial is dermaplaning plus all Prickly Pear Facial treatments. Some redness is expected following dermaplaning. We recommend you avoid direct sun exposure for a few days post-treatment.

When will I see results?

Clients will notice a smooth complexion and diminished appearance of fine lines and wrinkles immediately after the treatment. Clients with fair/sensitive skin may experience some tightness and redness, which generally diminishes by the next day.

How long do the results last?

Results are cumulative, meaning your skin will continue to improve after each treatment. The vellus hair will return thinner than before.

In what body areas can I get it?

Face and chin areas are dermaplaned. Eyebrow shaping is also an option. Face, neck, and décolleté are all included in the facial treatment.

Dermaplaning PRO Facial

What is it?

The Dermaplane PRO Facial is a cleansing facial that also includes dermaplaning followed by a custom chemical peel. Dermaplaning removes the dead skin cells allowing the peel to absorb deeply into the skin. This iconic dermaplaning/peel duo works to give you brighter and tighter results that will leave your skin glowing, renewed, and rejuvenated!

What can I expect?

The Dermaplane PRO Facial includes all elements of the Dermaplaning Facial plus a medium-strength chemical peel. Slight tingling is expected with peel application, but should diminish within minutes. We prefer you leave the products on overnight to allow full absorption into the skin. Everyone experiences different results when it comes to peeling and some clients will not peel at all. You must always avoid sun exposure following a chemical peel.

When will I see results?

Most clients will immediately notice a bright and smooth complexion. You may experience an “ugly duckling” phase after a few days with some peeling and/or tightness. Not to worry: this will not last long and you will begin to see the rejuvenation of new skin cells soon!

How long do the results last?

Results vary with skin type, age, and skincare routine. Results are cumulative; you will notice more improvement after each treatment. The more treatments you receive and the better care for your skin, the longer the results will last!

In what body areas can I get it?

What is it?

IPL stands for intense pulsed light. Unlike a laser, IPL is white light and contains all wavelengths. It uses light energy to target certain colors in the skin—namely browns and reds (think: sun damage, broken capillaries, and rosacea). The skin heats up and then the body gets rid of the unwanted cells. There is a lot of buzz about the BBL (broadband light) facial right now. BBL is a broadband of light, where IPL is a single, intense, focused beam of light and is more targeted and precise. The IPL also stimulates collagen growth thereby improving texture and reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and large pores.

What can I expect?

The Lumecca Optimas has a built-in cooling system, and as such, you will not require any numbing beforehand. So cool (sorry; pun intended)!

When will I see results?

Within one week of the treatment, the skin will begin to heal. You may have some crusting, peeling, scabbing and darkening of spots prior to them flaking off and healing. After this, you will already notice improvement, however, the best results usually follow a few treatments (three is a good place to start and is generally how the packages are sold).

How long do the results last?

They are permanent! But you need to stay vigilant about your skincare and sun protection in order to maintain the best results.

Microneedling (aka collagen induction therapy)

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is something wonderful that sounds terrible. It is the creation of lots of tiny, little needle-sticks (yes, you will be numbed up) all over the face. When the body heals, it brings to the surface lots of cytokines and growth factors, which create more collagen and elastin (the factors of youth!). It can help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, acne, pore size, dark spots and scars. As such, it usually helps to increase happiness! We will add in serum based upon your skin concerns. The micropunctures in the skin also create the perfect opportunity for skincare products to penetrate and exert their effects.

What can I expect?

Your will be numbed up by one of two different methods. You may feel a slight pinch or pressure as the procedure is performed. You will be red with some slight bleeding afterward for 1-3 days, but there is otherwise little downtime.

When will I see results?

Patience, my dear. You will not see immediate results; it will take 4-6 weeks. And the best results come after a few treatments. Some people will have some peeling and flaking of the skin (but not usually as much as with a deep chemical peel).

How long do the results last?

Results are quite varied and depend on the patient and how many times you have had it done and with which serums. You can expect results to last anywhere from six weeks to two years.

PRX Derm Perfexion (aka PRX-T33, biorevitaliser, “non-peel” peel)

What is PRX-T33?

They are calling PRT-T33 a biovitalizer. I like to call it a “non-peel” peel. They have been using it in Europe for years and it finally just came to the U.S. (thanks, FDA!). PRX-T33 is a terrible name for a lovely treatment that helps restore collagen and elastin, thereby improving skin tone, laxity and the appearance of scars and “crepe-y” skin. And best of all, it doesn’t make you more sensitive to the sun and is safe for all skin types!

What can I expect?

PRX-T33 is massaged into the skin with four (4) pounds of pressure, which actually feels somewhat pleasant. It is massaged into the dermis (past the epidermis), so, unlike peels, it rarely flakes or peels. (Notably, it can be combined with microneedling, in which case, the recovery will be that of the microneedling recovery.)

When will I see results?

It tightens and firms after even the first treatment. Most clients notice “glowing”, healthy skin for the week following treatment. Get ready for the compliments!

How long do the results last?

The results will last longer after each treatment until they become more permanent (usually after the fourth (4th) treatment). Body areas may require a few more treatments.

In what body areas can I get it?

PRX-T33 can be used in any body area you desire an improvement in skin texture and laxity. Clients having their faces treated as well as neck, décolleté, arms and stretch-marked abdomens, to name a few. It can also be used in targeted treatments for depressed scars and stretch marks.

PRP Microneedling Facial

What is PRP Microneedling Facial?

There is a chance you’ve heard of the Vampire Facial®. The Vampire Facial® is a registered name for a PRP microneedling facial. PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma (aka liquid gold, because this stuff is incredible). Platelets are the little guys who rush to the site of a wound to form a clot. Cleverly, they also carry with them lots of good things (cytokines and growth factors) to help said wound heal. These growth factors repair tissue and create collagen wherever they are injected. Your own blood is used to create PRP and is then put back into the skin via the tiny channels created through microneedling.

What can I expect?

You will have a few tablespoons of blood drawn and then spun in a sophisticated PureSpin PRP® centrifuge to concentrate the platelets to nearly 7-8 times higher than they normally occur in your body. The PRP is then applied to the skin prior to microneedling with the Rejuvapen NXT®. You will be numbed prior to microneedling, which will make it quite tolerable. You can expect to be pink for about 2-3 days and may have some flaking of the skin. You may cover with mineral makeup the next day.

When will I see results?

Clients will often notice a “glow” within a few days. But you will want to do three sessions spaced approximately one month apart. You can expect the appearance of new collagen in about three month’s time.

How long do the results last?

Since your body is creating collagen and elastin, the results are permanent. But most people like to do annual or even quarterly treatments to keep that Gilded glow!
