Hair Removal

You will need to shave the day prior to your treatment. A lubricant will be applied to your skin prior to treatment (yes, some lasers require lubricant). You will likely experience slight redness and pinpoint swelling near the site of the destroyed hair follicle—this means we got it! Treatments usually take only 20-30 minutes (as opposed to nearly 40 minutes with other devices).

The number of hairs will be reduced over the next few weeks. You will return for another treatment in six weeks (this is necessary for all hair reduction since we can only destroy the actively growing hair and it grows in six-week phases). Most clients will achieve desired results after four to six sessions.

The results are permanent, although you will need touch-ups over the years for the onsies or twosies of new hairs that will pop-up.

Any area of hair growth with colored hairs (white hairs cannot be treated by laser since it targets pigmentation).
